Created to celebrate my mother’s fiftieth birthday, Mother Tongue features images from our family archive screenprinted onto a silk saree. The saree is accompanied by a bilingual zine, typeset in English and Bengali, reflecting on language, memory, and matrilineal inheritance.SVA Printshop
